Cold Eye Reviews

Cold Eye Reviews provide a ‘snapshot’ of overall site conditions, with a focus on the identification of unsafe / hazardous and non-compliant activities, behaviours and conditions which can be observed at the time of inspection.

Using a detailed checklist, a general site walk-down, and observation of work activities and discussions with supervision and labour, a “snapshot” of site safety is developed andcompliance assessed against international best practice expectations.

Where activities, behaviours or conditions are identified as being unsafe, hazardous or non-compliant, the basis for that finding, and the recommended corrective action will be documented and formally communicated at the conclusion of the inspection.

A Site Inspection / Cold Eye Review does not include examination of documents, records and contractual compliance and all findings are made on the basis of conditions “as is – where is” at the time of inspection.
